ABOUT US
University of South Australia – Health Innovation Building Project*
Joseph Constructions was established in 1970 by husband and wife team Joseph and Antonia Drusian, who are both still actively involved in our business. Although our roots are based in the residential sector, our business has evolved over the years under the guidance of Joseph and Antonia’s son Lui, who has been the Group’s Managing Director since 1997.
In 2010, Jocon (SA) Pty Ltd was incorporated to separate specialised concrete works from building contract works. Joseph Constructions now concentrates solely on construction.
Over the years, Joseph Constructions and Jocon have developed an enviable reputation in the South Australian marketplace as leading commercial concrete and construction contractors, delivering high-end and sophisticated works on large Government, commercial, retail and residential projects.
We are experts in the construction field and our team are experienced at large scale construction projects. We are passionate about what we do and it shows in our people and our results. No matter how big or small the project, our approach is always the same – constructing sustainable, high performance, quality structures for the lowest cost in the shortest possible timeframe.
We firmly believe that we wouldn’t have stayed in business as long as we have without the ability to develop lasting relationships with our clients and our commitment to safety, quality and productivity.

Best Practice
We firmly believe that our success is built on our solid quality processes and the experience and professionalism of our staff. Our quality management, occupational health, safety and environmental management system, methodologies and practices are deeply entrenched throughout our business to ensure that we consistently deliver high quality results on each project we work on.
Our people are responsible for our success and we invest in the training and development of all staff to ensure they have the right skills, qualifications and experience to deliver on our quality commitment in a safe working environment.
Sustainability
We are committed to sustainable, environmentally sound building practices. The construction industry is synonymous with the intensive use of energy and creation of significant waste and pollutants, and wherever possible we utilise eco-friendly construction practices. Our Environmental Management Plan helps to ensure we have a low environmental footprint.
On every build, we focus on:
Reducing building and water waste Minimising noise and dust pollution
Decreasing carbon emissions
Cutting energy use
Protecting storm water from silt and chemicals
Lowering non-renewable resource depletion
