Flinders Health Medical Research Building

The construction of the new Flinders health Medical Research Building commenced in April 2022.

Jocon SA Pty Ltd have already undertaken several large scale concrete pours on this 10 storey building which will accommodate staff from Flinders’ Colleges of Medicine and Public Health and Nursing and Health Sciences.

It will feature state-of-the-art research and staff spaces, seminar area, public spaces and a ground floor cafe.

Scheduled for completion in Q2 2024.

The construction of the new La Casa Del Formaggio cheese factory is well underway at their new site in Endiburgh.

Jocon SA Pty Ltd have completed numerous large scale concrete pours and look forward to seeing this state of the art facility completed in late 2022.

The construction of the new Grace Apartments located in Glenside is officially over the half way mark and well ahead of schedule.

Commencement of Lyell McEwin Hospital Redevelopment

Works officially commenced at the Lyell McEwin Hospital this month. This major redevelopment will be carried out by Hansen Yuncken and is forecasted to be completed in 2022.

Jocon SA Pty Ltd have been selected by DPTI and Hansen Yuncken as the preferred Contractor to undertake the complete Structure Package.

Gleeson College – New Senior Learning Centre

Completion of the new Senior Learning Centre at Gleeson College occurred this month.

Jocon SA Pty Ltd were engaged by Sarah Constructions to complete the concrete structure works package, which came with its challenges due to working within normal school terms.

Our team successfully and safely completed the works without disruption to students or to the daily school operations including managing busy morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.

Her Majesty’s Theatre – Celebrating the completion of a remarkable transformation

Together with Hansen Yuncken, Jocon SA Pty Ltd are proud to celebrate the completion and re-opening of the historic and iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Jocon were confronted with many challenges through construction in particular working around the existing structure. Careful planning and coordination in collaboration with Hansen Yuncken drove the successful execution of the project. This stunning rebuild was completed over the span of two years but not without the astounding efforts of numerous teams, including the hard work of our own professional team on and off-site.

Osborne Naval Shipyard – Another successful project

Jocon SA are honored to have been engaged by Lendlease to complete concrete works for the numerous buildings within the new Osborne Naval Shipyard Precinct for the New Frigate Ship Building.

With very high floor tolerances and large scale pours of over 600m3, all works were successfully completed to perfection, and we thank our professional team on their dedication and hard work to achieve this positive outcome.

Modern Party Hire New Facility

Joseph Constructions in conjunction with Dellta Projects have successfully handed over the new premises to Modern Party Hire. A custom built facility in excess of 3,000 sqm of Offices / Display Showrooms and Warehousing was completed 2 months ahead of schedule and under budget. Staged handover allowed the complete transition of stock and equipment from Modern Party Hires  multiple existing facilities prior to construction handover, eliminating any interruptions to business during the lead up to a busy festive season.

USG Boral – Another Proud Handover

Joseph Constructions have delivered another successful custom built development for USG Boral’s new 1,050sqm Showroom Warehouse Facility located at Thebarton.

The site was strategically sought-after by USG Boral with the main advantage of close proximity to the city and accessibility to the new South Road extension.

In close collaboration with USG Boral and the design team, Joseph Constructions, were able to deliver a high quality new facility for the Boral brand.

On target completion for USG Boral Showroom Development

Joseph Constructions are proud to have achieved significant milestone in the construction of USG Boral Showroom/Warehouse facility in Thebarton.   Joseph Constructions initial turnover of soil commenced in mid-April 2017 with project forecast completion and handover to client in October 2017.

Major Concrete pour achieved in record time

A Major Project Milestone was achieved by Jocon (SA) Pty Ltd for the Park Central Apartments – Bowden development for builders Emmett Property.

A staggering 900 cubic meters of concrete was placed in just over 7 hours!

This was a fantastic effort and collaboration between all parties involved to achieve such a great result.
